WHEN WILL STATE, TOWN, AND COUNTY OFFICERS DO ROADBLOCKS... I FIND IT A LITTLE CONCERNING WHEN I A YOUNG ADULT WHO HAS HAD THEIR LICENSE FOR ALMOST 9 YEARS AND HAVE ONLY HAD TO RUN INTO ONE SINGLE ROADBLOCK AND THAT WAS IN NEW SHARON. I THINK THEY REALLY NEED TO PUT THEIR FOOTS DOWN AND DO THESE MORE OFTEN! I'M SURE I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT THINKS THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE?

I can tell you i have had my drivers license for more than 9 years and I have never ever hit a roadblock (and yes I am out driving on holidays to see family and friends). however i would run into no problem if i did have to go through a roadblock as I am a very careful driver (something about a fear of dying in a car crash).

Roadblocks and hammering down on under-aged drinking. Franklin county sherriff dept. seem to ignore tip offs even when they are made. They ought to take a lesson from the Maine State police who busted the party in Roxbury just before graduation.

I too favor more roadblocks, it is alarming when you read about young people falling asleep while driving, apparently they are staying up all night (probably partying) and get in a vehicle to drive to work, I wonder how much an employer gets from them in the form or WORK?

This may be the only town in America that needs roadblocks for pedestrians. Someone is going to get run over if the jaywalking persists. It would also help if all of the local drivers including the young cops we have, would learn how to make a left hand turn.
