$600K Powerball ticket sold in Maine
Monday, July 21, 2008
A $600,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Maine in Saturday's Jackpot drawing.
The Multi-State Lottery Association said Sunday that no one correctly matched all six numbers, but that someone from Vacationland came close, matching five five numbers and the Power Play. No further information was available Sunday regarding the winner or where the ticket was sold.
Two other winners matched all five numbers for a $200,000 payout, plus an additional 424,409 tickets paid nearly $19.4 million in prize money. The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is estimated to climb to $54 million. |
