Drugs found during arrests in Wilton

WILTON - Police responding to a reported violation of a protection order on Friday made two drug arrests, said police officer Rick Billian.
Steve Lee Jr. of Farmington was arrested and charged with violating a protection from abuse order after a police interview Friday afternoon in the parking lot at 60 Route 2.
While talking with Lee, officer Joshua King called for the county tracking dog, he said.
Before Franklin County Deputy Chris Chase and his dog "Jack" arrived, police told Lee's passenger, Roy Gordon of Temple, three times to get out of the vehicle. Gordon kept reaching under the seat trying to conceal a plastic bag that police later found contained seven oxycodone pills, Billian said. Once he got out of the car, Gordon was searched and police found additional drug paraphernalia on Gordon, King said in a statement.
Possession of oxycodone without a prescription is a class C felony, King added.
Lee was also searched and police found two oxycodone pills in his wallet, Billian said. He was arrested on charges of violating a protection from abuse order and possession of oxycodone. Gordon was arrested and charged with illegal possession of oxycodone.
Both Lee and Gordon were released Friday on $3,000 unsecured bail each for a court appearance on Oct. 16. |

Posted By:G. at August 5, 2008 1:58 PM (Suggest Removal) People like these two make me very angry. I am disabled due spinal issues and all that seems to come from it. IE, nerve damage, Chronic Pain. As a result of this I must take prescription pain medications otherwise known as Opioids.
If any of you out there suffer from chronic pain and need these medicines you known how hard it is to get your physician to give them out.
The reason is because of scumbags like these two. Because they foolishly abuse prescription medication it makes it that much harder for those who need them for semblance of live to get them.
People like this make my blood boil

It is a problem when the people doing the arresting should have been fired long ago. Whose fault is this? The D.A.? Police chief? Is anyone held accountable around here?
