Friday, August 8, 2008

LIVERMORE FALLS - Three teenage girls have been charged after police say they went to a Knapp Street home in pouring rain on Wednesday and stole two bags of returnable bottles.

Police received a call about some kids being loud and obnoxious at the corner of Knapp Street and Reynolds Avenue and went to investigate, Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

Crystal Greenlaw, 18, of Livermore Falls, a 15-year-old Jay girl and a 14-year-old Livermore Falls girl were each charged with one count of theft by unauthorized taking, he said.

Chief Steward: send them to Dixfield to pull their petty crimes, where the police work out deals with the momma's, instead of arresting and charging "crime's next generation"..........

Here we go again young kids who have no respect for someone else's property. Stop making deals between police departments and parents and make these kids pay = you do the crime you pay the time! Friends do it and get away with it so more and more are trying it. Stop it now or our jails will really be overcrowded once they reach 18!

Once again...punishment through labor. Simple answer. Teach them a TRADE so they don't become repeat offenders and derelicts to society.

That's how it's done these days with teenagers breaking the law. That's why they turn into adult law breakers.
