CMCC announces three new hires

AUBURN - Central Maine Community College President Scott Knapp announces the following staff appointments:
Elaine Barry has joined the faculty as a first-year experience coordinator. A Lewiston resident, Barry earned baccalaureate and master's degrees at Frostburg State University in Maryland. She has more than 19 years experience in academic counseling, including serving as associate director and internship coordinator for the Advising Center at Frostburg State. She was also employed as a career/transfer counselor at Potomac State College in West Virginia. She will be working in CMCC's Center for Retention and Transfer with a primary focus on helping first-year students to succeed and continue their college education.
Robert Prescott has been hired as an information support specialist. A graduate of the computer technology program at CMCC, he was employed most recently at the Sun Journal. A resident of Auburn, Prescott worked as a student technician in the Information Technology Department while he was a student at the college.
Glynn Ross II is working as a college receptionist. Ross is also a recent graduate of CMCC, having earned his associate degree in business administration last spring. He worked as an student executive assistant at the college, and has also been employed by Kimball Building and Remodeling. He lives in Bridgton. |
