Business lunch and learn date set

RUMFORD - The River Valley Technology Center, Growth Council and Chamber of Commerce will present a business lunch and learn opportunity "River Valley Expo 2008 Pre-Show" on Aug. 20 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St. Cost is $10 and includes lunch. Chamber members pay $8. Prepayment is required; there will be no refunds. Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling Lorraine at 369-0396, or by e-mail: lorraine@rvgc.org by Aug. 18

The seminar will include the do's and don'ts of trade show exhibiting, how planning is a key to a successful show, panel discussions of past exhibitors to provide guidance on what has worked or not worked, plus an informal exchange of ideas.
