Bruce is Sugarloaf course superintendent

CARRABASSETT VALLEY - Robert W. Bruce, a veteran in the golf industry with extensive experience in turf management, will take over as golf course superintendent at the Sugarloaf Golf Club.
Bruce has spent the past four years as golf course superintendent at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Penn., which is currently ranked in Golfweek's Top 100 Classic Courses. A graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in plant and soil sciences, Bruce has more than 12 years experience in the golf industry, working as both superintendent and assistant superintendent at three different courses.
Sugarloaf Golf Club is recognized by Golf Digest as Maine's best golf course and one of America's Top 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses. |
