Energy workshop set for Jay
Tuesday, August 26, 2008
JAY - People are invited to an energy conservation workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Jay High School library.
Hosted by Sen. Bruce Bryant and co-hosted by Rep. Ray Pineau, the workshop will feature a panel of guests, including energy program manager Jo-Ann Choate from Maine State Housing Authority, Dick Bacon from Efficiency Maine, a representative from the Jay Fire Department, Irving Faunce from Western Maine Community Action, Ruth Marden from Jay's office of general assistance, and a representative from the United Way.
They'll talk about resources and tips people may be able to use to lower heating costs. |
