SCARBOROUGH - David Pacileo of Lewiston has been promoted to the position of associate supervisor at the United States Postal Service, and will now supervise clerks and mail handlers at the Southern Maine Processing and Distribution Center in Scarborough.

Pacileo has been with the Postal Service for two years and recently completed a four-month supervisory training program, graduating with 11 other management trainees.

Pacileo began his postal career as a letter carrier in Auburn in 2006. He has worked as an acting supervisor in Customer Services at the Auburn Post Office while learning about a number of different postal operations during the Postal Service training program.

He is currently pursuing a degree in business administration. He lives in Lewiston with his wife, Elaine. They have three teenage children.
