Wednesday, October 8, 2008
LEWISTON - Bates College will present saxophonist Jeff Coffin, known for his work with banjoist Béla Fleck, in a performance with the Thomas Snow Trio Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Coffin will lead a master class earlier in the day, at 4:15p.m., for amateur jazz saxophonists. The concert and class are open to the public, free of charge. For more information, contact 786-6135 or olinarts@bates.edu.
The Thomas Snow Trio consists of pianist Snow, a lecturer in music at Bates and director of the college jazz band; bassist Tim Webb; and drummer Steve Grover, a member of Bates' applied music faculty.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Olin Arts Center, 75 Russell St. |
