Friday, October 10, 2008

PORTLAND (AP) - Todd Palin, husband of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is coming to Maine to campaign for John McCain.

Palin will appear on Saturday will appear at a barbecue at the Moosehead Trail Trading Post in Palmyra on Saturday afternoon, according to the McCain campaign. Doors open at 2 p.m.

Palin will appear at another barbecue at noon on Sunday at Harry's Motor Sports in Presque Isle.

The McCain campaign announced last week it was putting more resources into Maine, particularly in the state's 2nd Congressional District. Well we would love to see him! I live to far to travel to see him but he's welcome to our home. I'm sure he's got some pretty interesting stories. I bet he's proud to be with a take charge kinda gal. I like her as much as I did Princess Diana, that must be in the genes :) McCain/Palin '08
