Alleborn named vice president

WAYNE - Lyn Alleborn, a resident of Wayne, was recently appointed a regional sales vice president at AspenCross Financial Group's branch office in Portland. Alleborn, responsible for financial representative recruitment and development, joined the organization earlier this summer.

Prior to joining AspenCross, Alleborn was agency sales director for a life insurance carrier, where she was responsible for recruiting and mentoring financial representatives. She received the New Agent of the Year, Career Life Producer, LTC Bronze Champion and Leading Lives Bronze awards. Alleborn also owned and operated a retail business in Waterville for 11 years.

Tax-planning workshop offered

LEWISTON - Registrations are being accepted for Northeast Bank's complimentary workshops on taxation planning and retirement planning.

Financial consultant Kevin Carbin Jr., CFP, and financial consultant Christian Bishop, CFP, of Northeast Financial, the bank's investment division, will host the sessions.

Taxation planning will be offered Oct. 16 at the Northeast Bank building, 500 Canal St., at noon. Reserve by Oct. 11.

Retirement planning will be offered Oct. 23, also at Northeast Bank at noon. Reserve by Oct. 18.
