DIXFIELD — Kirsten Blood of East Dixfield, a senior at Dirigo High School, has been selected to receive the 2010 Principal’s Award, Principal Michael Poulin has announced. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Kirsten is very deserving of this award. She has distinguished herself as an outstanding student and school citizen in her four years at Dirigo High School. She leads by example in all that she does. I am very proud to have her represent Dirigo High School,” said Poulin.
Award winners and their principals will attend an Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 3.
