Sue Ann Mock


BETHEL – Sue Ann (Ring) Mock, 53, died Friday, July 27, at her residence in Bethel.

She was born in Rumford on Feb. 4, 1954, a daughter of Rodney Ring and Jackqueline McLean. She attended Buckfield and Rumford schools. She worked at Rumford Falls Aerie 1248 FOE as a bartender.

She enjoyed sports, especially the Red Sox and Miami Dolphins. She was an avid beano player and loved to make crafts, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was married in Rumford to William Mock who survives of Rumford.

Other survivors include a daughter, Shenia York, and her husband, Matthew, of Bethel; her father, Rodney Ring, and his wife, Gloria, of Mexico; her mother, Jackqueline McLean, and her husband, Russell, of Peru; three sisters, Bethemy Ring of Mexico, Linda Ring of Buckfield and Ruth Huntington of Turner; a brother, Robert Ring of Havelock, N.C.; two grandchildren, Ethan Phelps and Olivia York of Bethel; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Child of Peru; and a stepgrandfather, Milton Vaughn of Peru.

She was predeceased by a son, Rodney Kennedy; her grandfather, Norman Child; and her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Della Ring.

The family would like to thank Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice and the nursing staff at Central Maine Medical Center/M1 for their kindness and excellent care.
