Season outlook: For the third straight season, Scott Morrison will coach both the boys’ and girls’ team at Edward Little as well as the girls’ teams at Leavitt and Lisbon. As a whole, Morrison has plenty of talent to work with this season, especially on the girls’ side. Olivia Paione returns for her senior season after taking the 100 freestyle title in the state meet. She finished second in the 100 breaststroke. Maggie Chiriyath found success as a freshman, placing at the state meet in the 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle. Lisbon’s Lily Wade and Leavitt’s Kristen Morissette should once again qualify for state, but they’ll compete as individuals and won’t be able to score team points for Edward Little. Michel Cwik will lead the boys’ team in what is likely to be a rebuilding season, according to Morrison.
