LEWISTON — The Ark & Olive Branch Cafe, 791 Lisbon St., is offering the following events during January:

Indian Festival Cooking Class: 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, presented by Martin Raj. Register: 603-759-1994.

“ACHOOO!” Prevention & Treatment of Colds & Flu — Better than a Flu Shot!, Herb Class: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, with Jane Kuntz, certified herbalist. Participants will learn how to protect the family with simple but effective herbal remedies. There will be samples, recipes and give-aways. The class size limited to 24. Free Movie Night, “The Truth about Cancer, Episode 6, NOCEBO Effect”: 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, hosted by Fran and Kathleen Szostek.
