Theberge named branch manager


LEWISTON — June B. Parent, executive vice president and senior retail banking officer for Camden National Bank, announces that Sonia Theberge has been named branch manager, retail banking officer for Camden National’s Lewiston office. In her new role she will oversee daily branch operations and work with local business partners to develop consumer and commercial business.

Theberge has been with Camden National Bank since 2000 and previously served as commercial loan administrator in the Lewiston market. Before joining Camden National, she spent 15 years at Fleet Bank, which is now Bank of America, serving as assistant branch manager before becoming a small business lender and bank officer.

Theberge has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern Maine, and is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking. She is a member of the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Club, and is involved in the Bowling for Kids campaign that raises money for education in Lewiston. She is also an active participant in Community Spirit of Giving, Camden National’s stakeholder-run community outreach program that sponsors fundraising events throughout the year to raise money to help area families in need at the holidays. She lives in Lewiston with her husband.
