Theresa E. Myles


LEWISTON – Theresa E. Myles, 68, of Crescent Avenue, Rumford, died Monday, Jan. 22, at the home of her daughter Patty in Lewiston, with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Rumford on April 17, 1938, a daughter of Nery and Ida (Paulin) Babineau. She was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Stephens High School, Class of 1956.

She was the proud and loving mother of nine children, and was adored by her grandchildren.

She loved cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce Myles of Rumford and Timothy Myles of Rumford; seven daughters, Ruth Brown, and husband, Michael, of Hanover, Pam Nicols, and husband, Billy, of Rumford, Carmen Myles of Rumford, Laurie Myles, and companion, Terry Smith, of Rumford, Patricia Myles of Lewiston, Mary Godbey, and husband, Steven, of Jay and Jennifer Myles of Sanford; two sisters, Lorraine Gallant of Hanover and Jeannette Newman of Bowdoin; nine grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Nathan Nicols, Stephanie Nicols, Alyssa Myles, Brenna Myles, Joshua Garrett, Jonathan Anderson, Kaila Godbey and Brielle Youngken.

She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Noella Barlow; and a grandson, Ryan Brown.
