WEST PARIS — Theresa M. DeSalle, 79, formerly of Concord Apartments died Sunday, April 18, at Ledgeview Living Center.
She was born in Rumford, Jan. 18, 1931, a daughter of Elzadas and Mary (Galarneau) Patenaude. She attended Mexico schools.
She married the love of her life, Guido J. DeSalle on Sept. 6, 1948, and together they celebrated 44 years of marriage and raised four children.
She worked for many years at shoe shops in Rumford, Livermore and Jay. She loved making wedding cakes and working in her flower garden and bird watching.
She also loved picking berries in the summer, ceramics, knitting, and crocheting afghans for her family kept her very busy.
Surviving are her children, Marie May of Auburn, Nannette Belskis and husband, Peter of Ashland, Deborah Gagnon and husband, Gary, of Dixfield and Nicola G. DeSalle and wife, Natalia, of Bangor; a brother, Roland Patenaude and wife, Sue, of Florida; a sister, Jeanette Libby and companion, Jerry Peppin, of Auburn; 11 grandchildren, Christina Michaud and husband, Troy, Jeinnine Payne and husband, Roger, Michael Richard and wife, Christa, Paula Arsenault and husband, Jason, Diana Trams and husband, Lenox, Darren Belskis and wife, Leslie, Angela Belskis, Jason Kimball and companion, Susan Johnson, Kelly Smith and husband, Corey, Kayla DeSalle and husband, Mike and Olena Glushko; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; the love of her life, Guido J. DeSalle in 1992; and a brother, Richard Patenaude.
