Three bands featured at DEAP fest


LEWISTON – Hip hop “vocal percussionist” Rahzel headlines the third annual Drop Everything and Play (DEAP) Festival at Bates College, starting at 4 p.m. Friday, May 5, on the Library Quad, behind Chase Hall, Campus Avenue.

Opening for Rahzel are the post-hardcore-psychedelic-black metal band Trusty and the funk-rock quartet Sucka Brown.

The DEAP festival also offers free inflatable play areas, and a barbecue for $4 per person.

The event is open to the public at no charge. The rain site is the Gray Athletic Building. For more information, call 795-7496.
