AUBURN — Central Maine Community College President Scott Knapp has announced the following staff appointments:
Kellie Morris, administrative specialist, academic affairs. Morris is an Auburn native who graduated with honors from CMCC in 2007 with a degree in business administration and management. She was previously employed as a copy assistant at the Sun Journal and as an event/marketing manager at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.
Meredith Bonney, assistant director of registration and records. Bonney graduated with honors from CMCC in 2011 with degrees in accounting and business administration and management. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Bonney has been employed as a technician at Formed Fiber Technologies and as a business manager. She lives in Turner and is the owner of Patchwork Place in Livermore.
Leisa Collins, project manager, DOL TAA Grant. A native of Old Town, Collins earned a bachelor’s degree in business management at Bentley University and a master’s degree in education at the University of Maine.
Employed most recently as admissions director at York County Community College, she previously worked at CMCC as admissions director and internship coordinator. Under this grant through the U.S. Department of Labor, Collins will be assisting colleagues at each of the seven Maine Community College System campuses to expand capacity to deliver career training programs that prepare eligible participants for employment in high-wage, high-skill occupations.
