Tickets available for local ‘Price Is Right’


FARMINGTON — Local Rotarians are planning for this year’s local edition of the “Price Is Right” game show, complete with a showcase showdown and many smaller prizes, drawings and opportunities to win. The theme is “New England Sports.”

The club’s ninth annual event will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Mt. Blue High School auditorium. Six games will be based on the television game show, including the showcase showdown, musical interludes, door prize drawings and refreshments.

There will be surprises and zany costumes.

Tickets will remain $10 for regular seating, with some limited $15 tickets for VIP seating that include a Hollywood-style “swag bag.”

The limited VIP tickets will be made available from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce Office, Route 2.

Kent Wiles will return as emcee “Bob Barker,” Roger Lambert will describe the prizes and the Rotarians will be assisted by Interact and Rotoract youths.

The next planning meeting will be held Monday, Feb. 6, at Franklin- Somerset Federal Credit Union, Wilton Road.
