Timothy B. Maillet


TEMPLE – Timothy B. Maillet, 44, of Temple, died Saturday May 13, in Temple, as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born Aug. 7, 1961, in Farmington, a son of Daniel and Lorraine (Paradis) Maillet. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Mt. Blue High School in 1980.

He married the former Belinda Knowles of Temple on July 27, 1996, at his parents home in Wilton.

He was employed for many years at Japanese Car Care in Farmington. He was a volunteer firefighter in Temple, a member in good standing at the Farmington Elks Lodge 2430 and was vice president of the Temple ATV Club. He also groomed snowmobile trails in Temple and was the “Temple mechanic.”

He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family and will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Belinda of Temple; his parents, Daniel and Lorraine Maillet of Wilton; a sister, Celeste Campbell and her companion, Kent Hayden, of Madison; a brother, Randy Maillet and companion, Donna Farrington, of East Dixfield; two nephews, Brandon Campbell of Madison and Devin Maillet of East Dixfield; godparents, Elmer and Louise Lake of Fayette; a “special sister,” Marilyn Grant and her husband, Doug, of Monmouth; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia “Patsy” Mikels, on Aug. 5, 2005.
