1964 – 2016
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — Timothy J. Hesketh, 52, of Rand Hill Road, Morrisonville, N.Y., passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 5, with his family by his side at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh, N.Y., after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 15, 1964, to John Hesketh and Karen (Roy) Henry. Tim was a hardwood floor technician and worked for many years for Forth Sports Floors in the Northeastern states.
He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and hunting, and just being outside in the woods.
Tim was one of those special people who thought of others before himself and who gave tirelessly of himself to family and friends. We are blessed to have had his love.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Barbara Sherman; his large blended family he enjoyed with her including two sons, Jason and Jeff of Lewiston; mother, Karen Henry of Sabattus; two brothers, Steve (Wendy) of Ellsworth and John of Oxford; two sisters, Cindy Benoit of Minot and Carol Gilbert of Leeds; many especially-loved grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Say not in grief, he is no more, but live in thankfulness that he was.
