RUMFORD — Timothy Paul Ross, 26, of Lincoln Avenue joined his father Mark in heaven on Thursday, July 5.
He was born in Rumford on Feb. 14, 1992, a son of Catherine A. (Napolitano) and Mark L. Ross Sr.
Tim was a graduate of Mountain Valley High School, Class of 2010. He was a member of the football team, and in his senior year he caught the interception in the last 14 seconds of the game against Wells to bring them to the playoffs. He was also a member of the baseball team and excelled in wrestling. Following high school, he attended Husson University.
He was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.
Tim was employed with Spectrum as a retail sales representative. He was ranked No. 20 and was in the top 5 percent in the Eastern Division nationwide.
He loved spending all of his spare time with his siblings and family. He enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling and spending time at the family camp. He also enjoyed watching Ultimate Fighting Championships with his brother Mark and their friends, hanging out at Lazarou Motors, taking selfies on Snapchat, playing Xbox and watching endless hours of Sports Center.
Tim especially loved spending time with his nephew, Giovanni. He never went a day without wearing his Livestrong bracelet. The only time he would give it up was to allow Giovanni to chew on it.
