Tony Award nominee will sing at MSMT

BRUNSWICK — Maine State Music Theatre will present Tony-nominated actor and singer Euan Morton in concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Pickard Theatre.

Morton, a native of Scotland, is best known for his Scottish wit and his roles on London’s West End and on Broadway. His starring role in the musical “Taboo” gained him nominations for both Lawrence Olivier and Tony awards.

He has released two solo albums, his most recent in May of this year. “Caledonia – The Homecoming” features 10 well-known Scottish folk tunes, including: “My Love’s Like a Red, Red Rose,” “Loch Lomand,” “Danny Boy” and “Auld Lang Syne.”
