LEWISTON — Utilizing the arts as a means of personal expression, Tree Street Youth will present to the public their first forays into the world of visual arts. The Tree Street exhibit will consist of primarily youth created drawings, paintings and sculpture. The public is invited to view these works of art and to join the artists for the opening reception located at the Community Gallery in L/A Arts, 221 Lisbon St., from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 2. Tree Street Youth Community Gallery Exhibit runs March 2 through March 30.
Tree Street Youth supports the youth of Lewiston-Auburn through academics, the arts and athletics. They provide Lewiston-Auburn youth with a safe space that encourages healthy physical, social, emotional and academic development while building unity across lines of difference.
