LEWISTON — The YWCA of Central Maine and Barclay’s Skindiver’s Paradise will offer a “Discover Scuba Diving” class from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at the YWCA, 130 East Ave.

“The class gives potential scuba students a chance to kick the tires, and really experience what it feels like to float neutrally buoyant, breath freely underwater, and take in the entire scuba sensation,” said Ian Barclay, owner of Skindiver’s Paradise.

“This introductory session helps to give students an idea of what they will be learning in our NAUI scuba class. Barclay’s Skindivers Paradise provides all equipment for NAUI Discover Scuba,” he said. “The student needs to make no investment in equipment until they have had a chance to try scuba diving. A bathing suit and a towel is all that’s needed for an opportunity to open the door to a lifetime of underwater adventure.”

Preregistration is required. For more information or to preregister, contact Barclay’s Skindiver’s Paradise at 784-7300 or visit www.skindiversparadise.com.
