Turner resident appointed coordinator


TURNER — The Center for Search and Investigations announces the appointment of Robert Hutter, an investigator from Turner, as a state investigations coordinator.

Hutter, a 20-year tenured investigator, will take the volunteer position, effective immediately. He lives in Turner with his wife and children. He previously worked for the New Bern, N.C., Police Department and as a guardian ad litem in Craven County, N.C., before moving to Turner in January.

The Center for Search and Investigations assists and trains families and communities and assists law enforcement agencies in facilitating the search and location of missing children worldwide in order to safeguard children from abduction, human trafficking and exploitation. It is a 501(c)(3) organization.
