FARMINGTON – MaybeA committee of concerned constituents has invited Representative Bruce Poliquin to a public town hall event at UMF’s North Dining Hall on Monday, April 17th, from 6-8pm.
As of this writing he has neither committed to nor clearly declined to attend. The committee is going forward, however, with a panel discussion on human rights, the environment, and educational policy. Panel members include Walter “Woody” Hanstein, Esq., Emmie Theberge of the Natural Resources Council of Maine and John Kosinski of the Maine Education Association.
The public is invited to attend and bring questions, concerns, and comments. These will be forwarded to Representative Poliquin’s office in an attempt to make our voices heard.
This event is cosponsored by the UMF Sustainable Campus Coalition and the UMF Diversity Lab. For more information and ongoing developments, please see this Facebook site.
