Undemocratic actions

We are moving quickly toward 4,000 military casulties in Iraq.

The Iraqi death count is upward of 100,000 to a quarter- million.

Though President Bush now says these deaths are occurring because he’s attempting to impose a democracy, does he believe in democracy? On the contrary, he acts like he doesn’t care if only first lady Laura Bush and his dog support the war – he will stay the course.

This leaves the will of 300 million people ignored.

If Congress responds to public demand and passes legislation to wind down this fiasco, President Bush says he would veto that legislation. How is this democracy?

Bush has displaced Napoleon as the caricature of arrogance, not Simon Bolivar as the patron saint of self rule.

King George was more of a democrat, and we got rid of him.
