The problem I have with his daughter doing the job is how many well-qualified unemployed Mainers were turned away for the job, or did he even look at their resumes? I have no problem with her living with Daddy, but yes, the better choice would have been for him to have kept the house in Waterville for her to "rent" and be a responsible adult.

Yes Ginger, I'm also curious as to how many qualified, unemployed, Maine people were overlooked for that job? I know someone working for the state for many years who doesn't make that amount. I would say it's a pretty special entry level job with a great starting pay, and also includes free rent. I agree, she'll have plenty of time to do the math to figure this one out.
Voisine, she thinks you're on welfare! The Republicans on these posts automatically think they're better than anyone else and can't imagine a Democrat can be financially secure. They think all Democrats are on welfare. Too funny. They just can't grasp why a Democrat, wealthy or otherwise, isn't selfish like they are. They don't understand why Democrats have compassion for the poor, elderly, and disabled, but yet most of the Republicans claim to be "religious" people. Figure that one out? She makes the remark about Obama above, making sure to put in his middle name. Do you think she might be a racist too? Such a nice citygirl - too funny! Heck no, they don't go to jail, they just become the Republican Speaker of the House. She only stole 1 million more than Nutting did, but he was rewarded with a nice job for the state watching over the programs he stole from. Also "to be or not", the elderly did not get their cost of living raise because the Republicans shot it down, it wasn't President Obama's fault. Instead, the Republicans were fighting for a tax break for the wealthy and voted against the cost of living increase for the elderly.
