You have no clue about what the men and women of the fire service do on a daily basis do you? The training and maintenance of the equipment is a constant battle. They aren't paid as well as you might think. Nobody joins police, fire, or ems for the money. They sure as heck don't do it for the long frigid nights battling chimney fires or extricating victims from crushed vehicles. They do it to serve their communities and when people like you belittle their sacrifices and the time spent away from their families it makes you look like a fool.
