I've known lots of people in

I've known lots of people in my life with Tourettes and ADHD, and NONE of them have felt compelled to kill anyone. This whole thing is crap and a waste of taxpayer's money.

OMG people get over

OMG people get over yourselves! Do you really think he got a "deal" because he was a former cop? Open your eyes and take a look at other cases going on in the state right now where "ordinary" citizens are given deals. Look at David Cook who only got 6 years for killing a baby. It's happening everywhere....not just because he's a cop. Look at all the repeat OUI Offenders who keep getting caught, and keep getting little or no jail time or fines. You same people are screaming for blood from them too. I don't think he's getting preferential treatment because he's a cop......he's getting it because our judicial system stinks!
Now with that said........he should get a stiffer penalty because he was a cop.....and should be living by a higher standard. However, while I don't know Mitchell personally, I know his family, and I believe he was no longer a cop when the accident happened. I could be wrong though.

Wow queen....for someone who says she can't talk about this....you're doing an awful lot of talking. I'm thinking you need to really keep quiet beore you're in a situation you don't want to be in.......get my drift? You rambling on and on is not helping Taylor, nor will it bring her back. And it certainly isn't helping the investigation. Let the police do their jobs.

Ok, first I was under the impression that there was one grown man and two young boys in the apartment....not 3 grown men. Did I miss something? Also it is my understanding that the police are investigating why three people made it out of the apartment and one little girl did not. Until they complete their investigation and determine anyone was negligent, how about we hold off passing judgement? And finally.....how many of you have ever woken up to find their home on fire? It is a scary, panicked, disorienting situation. It's possible all three of the people who survived thought the little girl was with one of the others.....not to mention the fact that if this little girl did not sleep there on a normal basis, they forgot she was there. I mean how many of us have woken in our own beds in the middle of the night from a nightmare and not realized where we are for a few minutes? Now combine that with fire surrounding you and how do you think you would react?
Again, lets reserve judgement until we know all the facts and pray this poor little girl finds peace.

"He said Waterman would not

"He said Waterman would not have kept paperwork or other evidence related to the gun if he committed the crimes."

There's a reasonable explanation for that....Waterman is not the brightest bulb, and if he thought he had a chance of getting away with this, why would he think to hide the paperwork?

It looks to me like none of the parties involved led exemplary lives. Perhaps if these people tried to be more upstanding members of the community, this would never have happened.
