Yeah yeah! Obama's already been in office for 6 months. Isn't that long enough to reverse the 8-year dive into depression Bush gave us? It wasn't easy for the Republicans to dig a hole this deep but golly, filling it in oughta be easy huh?
Fact is, the Republican wheel's still spinning but the hamster's dead.
Maybe if the "rich" didn't get so many deductions, they'd avoid the high taxes. For all their whining about paying more taxes, I don't see them supporting a flat tax -- same percentage for everyone with no deductions for anybody.
Creatures like these -- lacking any merit or reason for recognition by normal people -- thrive, alternatively, on the attention they get for their sick, outrageous actions. Standing on their "right" to be ugly and offensive, they're morally much like the losers who resort to cowardly bombing or sneaky sniper murders as compensation for being ignored by society.
It would certainly help if the courts would move a bit swifter with a final decision on how much "right" they have to intrude on the rights of others. I find it difficult to believe that judges are actually "thinking" about matters before them for the months and months it takes them to do their job.
Palin has no way to go but up. If she's the best the Republicans have to offer, they might as well give up now and save us the trouble of dealing with them.
Wouldn't it be nice if all the self righteous opponants of gay marriage worked on making themselves better, rather than telling others how to live? The Bible says, "Judge not," but these characters can only find hate in the Bible. Who among we "straight people" would trade places with a gay person? Certainly not I. Leave the gays alone and strive to develop more Christian behavior in your own lives.
