unfortunately, they have very high priced things and this area can no longer support or afford them. Everyone would like to shop local, but the local shopkeepers need to adjust their stock and their prices to reflect the current economy. If we do not make money we can't give it to them, and that is just simple economics. Maybe a change to lower priced goods would be a smart thing to look into, even temporarily.
