When browsing the detailed expense report at the end of this article, I noticed that huge sums of money were given to Tanerprise Inc. without any explanation as to why the money was spent. Is anybody familiar with this company?
Everything Mary says is true. I know first hand because I'm a senior too, and my Medicare was raised to, guess what, $99+ monthly. I can easily prove it but I won't bother. And she did not exaggerate at all about anything. In my book, calling people liars when they're telling the truth is over the top.
You have to remember that the comment regarding "an employee's kid" comes from good old Dan (aka tron). He's famous for coming up with off the wall comments just to get us going.
There are times when I don't agree with someone's comment and I press the "Disagree" button. OK, I admit I don't post a comment stating why I don't agree. There is no rule that I have to explain, but isn't calling me a bottom-feeder going a little too far? After all the concept of using the two options is for you to see how many people agree/disagree with your comment, not to argue with you, call you names, trash you etc. There are times when I would like to do just that but I'd rather keep the peace by staying out of the conversation.
Just for the record, the woman who was taken to the hospital was not Rona Boilard. Except for a very sore ankle and knee, Rona is fine. The woman was actually inside the building, opening the door and panicked when she saw the car head for the building, causing her to fall as she tried to step back quickly.
I'm with the pirate on this one. We don't need merchandise peddling going on in this forum. I hope the powers that be take it upon themselves to put an end to this foolishness.
