My thoughts and prayers are with this family. I'm sure they are thankful for a diagnosis finally, but what horrible news to have to face. Thank you for your service, Joshua Kennedy.
...if he was resuscitated at the hospital, why was he sitting up and moving around when he was removed from the ambulance and taken to the helicopter? Facts please.
There are many errors in this story.
If his mother (the nurse) did not revive him, who did?
Went to Rumford hospital? No. Med-Care took him to the Dirigo High ball field where the Dixfield Fire Company set up a landing zone!
Went to CMMC? Not what the plans were when they left.
Sure the story sounds good, but that's about what it is, a story.
I do pray that the little boy will recover fully.
I was thrilled to read this story. Haiti holds a special place in my heart and I am happy to see that these brothers will have a chance at a life they never dreamed possible. I will be going to the blogs to read more about their story. Your families will have an amazing story to tell and these boys will bring such joy to your lives. God bless you and may your boys be home as soon as possible.
I don't understand why people read such good stories and then be so negative about the people involved.
To "fixit", I don't know why you are calling these families "missionaries" - they are or why you would condemn them if others are helping them adopt these boys. If you don't want to help out at a fund raising event or help with donations, don't! Are you assuming they are going to be collecting welfare (your tax money) because they are adopting? Perhaps you should be condemning those who collect welfare and sit around and do nothing, feeling like they are "owed" and have no initiative to find a job or help anyone else, yet can afford beer, smokes, lottery tickets, pets, and tattoos - but somehow can't afford to pay rent or feed their kids. Those are the people I get upset with who are using "my dime" and doing nothing to make life better for themselves or others.
to "DR": I can understand why some would choose to adopt from overseas.... rather than condemn them for their choices, and complain about children here needing families (true), how about you doing something to help those kids if that is where your heart is.
This is outrageous! He never should have been driving and with his previous record, he should have been in jail. Obviously he holds no respect for the law. How incredibly selfish to drive as he wishes, causing accidents, and then this time not even telling the police that he hit something/someone. He had to have known. He should lose his license permanently and spend some major time in jail. It's evident by his record that he hasn't learned from past experiences so this should be considered murder with the car, his weapon. How heart-breaking for the family of the woman.
