BOUNDARIES OF THE POLLING PLACE
Now we know where the Polling Places are! Every year, the usual suspect career candidates call out their names; extend a hand as to smooch to make up for their poor on the job performances. Perhaps this year they will honor the boundaries between the outside world and the sanctity of the Polling Place. Years of towing the party line over the needs of their constituents have put us in this entitlement mess.
I noticed that in this issue was a graph of how Mike Michaud beat his previous challengers. Perhaps this is the Sun-Journal's way of saying you can't beat Mike or even Chellie! Perhaps not, but we owe it to the people of Maine to try to oust one or both of Maine's Representatives to Congress who have voted incessantly for an agenda that has perched the nation on the verge of default in our financial markets and on defense. They have voted for Cap and Trade to spike our energy bill in favor of Obama's wind and solar. How is that working? The EPA with Obama's blessing is regulating Maine, New England and the nation to a standstill. November 6th is out ticket out of it, so take it to the bank and sweep the chatter out of Congress and the State Legislature for action that counts for Maine and America!
SOME QUESTIONS
Stephen, Much of this "UNFAIR DISTRIBUTION" comes from a Congress that slices their part of the pie first by by accepting funds and insider info from BIG BUSINESS. You vote for career politicians, you support Big Business. Unless you are a major stockholder, you can't fire misbehaving CEOs, but YOU CAN FIRE that politician who gives you and your neighbors nothing for all the money you pay and the regulations they impose on you and oppress the futures you hooped for you and your next generations.
Why aren't these people prosecuted? Has Eric Holder prosecuted and major contributor to the President or who otherwise supports the President's causes? I am certain you believe in justice, but justice has NOT happened in three to eight years, if not more with recent Congresses or this administration. If you want someone prosecuted, get rid of the obstructions, President Obama, Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano, etc. Hopefully the constituents of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will see that damage they have done and will vote nancy out and recall Harry Reid.
Big Business is doing well because Congress's legislations suppresses competition to Big Business, the millions of independent business owners who take the biggest risks of all, their life's savings and their souls to make their business flourish dispite Congress heaping more regulation on them because they aren't in the top tier of campaign contributors. With more money they can contribute millions split among hundreds of candidates keep two-bit puppet politicians in office and you on the brink of owing an allegiance for the paltry entitlement you may receive, if the professional "WELFARE TAKERS" don't take the last "Chinese" dimes. One of my best friends is Chinese, but Chinese-American relations is just ugly politics where China is also at risk.
Occupy Wall Street is just a bunch of well-meaning fire fighters trying to put out a 100 alarm fire. All of the "Occupy" sites have been identified and found under partial misdirection of the Obama administration or by proxy to the paid and easily recruited protesters. The sincere protesters are marginalized by the unruly and crass. The main problem is that POLITICAL RHETORIC, has them fighting this fire in the wrong city (THEY SHOULD BE IN WASHINGTON DC) and your network news would prefer not to let anyone know. That 99% is NOT the real number as many receiving something for nothing only want more and won't even step forward to for fear of jeopardizing their free ride. Because you perhaps watch network news you may have missed the growing number who are opposing the current administration's tactics of creating job by regulating business to suppress job creators and mandate you in aspects of your life.
You asked these questions that all point to the last question. What has your Congressman or woman done to alert you to the damage being done to your country? Have their answers been to recite more layers of legislation (spending) to make you feel better or have they just voted in the roughly 95%+ Obama or "progressive" way to keep you sliding into the deep abyss as Maine's delegation seems to have done for most of the past decade!
There is no part time belief in the Constitution as President Obama would want you to believe. In this election I want to start out by reading the Constitution, then look for candidates who believe in it.
CRISIS MANAGEMENT
When it comes to sensible solutions to, I am astonished that one or possibly more of our Congressional delegation would voice the opinion to release a quantity of oil from our Strategic Oil Reserve at perhaps $80 to $100 per barrel and replace it with oil purchased at $120 to $220 per barrel. This is the same logic as, "We have to pass (Obamacare) it to find out what is in it".
Why is it that Chellie and possibly Mike get re-elected on such brainstorming? Doesn't anyone understand that this President has handed the playing deck to incompetents to run our security, our justice, our treasury and budget and they deal from the bottom of the deck? If we don't elect people who understand our national needs like the need to drill for oil now and balance the dangers and benefits of nearer off shore wells, the maps of the US will be drawn by our enemies. Then you can look in the mirror to see who is at fault!
