Daniel Hartill has worked steadily as a Maine reporter since 1994. He came to the Sun Journal in 1998 as the paper's Oxford County Bureau Chief, overseeing news gathering in the Norway and Rumford offices. After a year in the role, Hartill moved to the main office in Lewiston and covered city government in Auburn. He currently serves as a feature writer covering an eclectic mix of subjects including the arts, religion, the military and county government.
