Follow this link that employer's can use to get rid of "problem employees". You know, the older folks, the disabled, the pregnant, the high wage earner, etc......
I agree with Mary and Phylis. These companies that are hiring typically low ball a potential employee and keep wages as low as possible. If someone is over 40-45 they are in trouble. Some companies even target these employees and find ways to get them off the payroll before they become a "liability". You might find a job if you know some one who can get you in or you agree to work a job no one wants for a low wage. After all, these POOR companies have to watch their "bottom line". Maine, the way life should be...............

Don't whine about this state's politics and games, just exit the way many of us all ready have :)
