The teams should be able to use the courts at the Farmington Community Center while they are unable to use the high school because of the renovations there. The old High school used the community center back when I went to High School and we never had a problem so what is the problem now. That is closer to home than Livermore Falls and even closer than Wilton . Think about it and use the community center to make it easier for the kids,parents and families and friends.
I have a lot of respect for the flag and what it represents FREEDOM. However I also believe in wind power as we need to make changes in the United States and try to save money. Wind power is one way to do it. I see nothing wrong with putting turbines on high mountain tops to get the power to prduce electricity for everyone use. I hope they check the pumps for calibration in Farmington,Wilton,Jay and Livermore Falls because when I have bought gas recently at some of these area stations I have thought I was paying more than I should have been paying and that when the pump register a gallon the price did not correspond right. When I questioned the store I was told that they pump was right. Now it makes me wonder and glad I no longer have a car to gas up. Jeremy you are a very kind child and you deserve to be praised for what you did for Danny Waite. I am sorry to hear about Danny and hope he will be okay. I think the video Mr.Stevens has should be released to the public so we can all decide if this was necessary shooting. I hope Mr Stevens shares the video with Mr.POPloskis family because if their are grounds for a lawsuit by his family then they should have this to use in court. Engine brakes are a safety issues on large trucks and are necessary to slow atractor trailer down on a hill or on icey roads. They are not generally that noisey however some people always have to complain about something. Also the county tax will go up like every other year. The price for the county to dispatch is going to cost more than for the town to have continued to do it. So taxpayers you will have gained nothing except higher tax bills in bad economic times and high unemployment. I also have heard that Northstar and the hospital which owns NorthStar plans to have the ambulance service dispatching done from Franklin County where all the dispatching for them is done. If it costs $27.00 an hour for the county to dispatch for Livermore Falls how can it only cost $2349.00 dollars per year to make the change in what the town pays the county now. When I went to school at $27.00 dollars per hour it would be a very considerable more than $2349.00 per year as there are 24 hours in one day and in 365 days per yearthere are 8760 hours per year so8760 hours for a year times 27.00 per hour in my figures comes to$2365.20 for 365 days a year not $2349.00 as Mr. Chaousis stated. I think the people of Livermore Falls need to wakeup and keep this important service in the town and not shift to the county for them or Lisbon to dispatch as those people do not know the area as well as your own dispatchers do. This has been an ongoing item for years and the service needs to be kept local not put out to people who do not know the area like your dispatchers do. Do not add to the unemployment figures anymore keep these people working locally so they can support their families and contribute to the town tax roll. A four dollars increase sounds like alot but it will cost more the other way and with the people in town having taxes increased by Wausau closing it is unfair to these taxpayers. Wausau should be made to continue paying their taxes until they sell the mill to someone else and they should not be allowed to move any machinery out of the mill. It should be sold with the machinery intact.

A situation like this can be very frustrating to the emergency crews. The dispatcher needs to get more information from the caller on cell phone and the caller needs to be more specfic with details. I realize people panic and the adrenal is flowing fast but take time to be specfic with the information as it is critical to all involved. This was a sad situation and dispatchers need to work with the responders more. The problem being that the dispatchers are not local and do not know the area as well as the local dispatchers did. We knew the areas we dispatched for well and it was a lot easier to communicate with the firefighters,ambulance and other responders then than it is know. When a call for Dixfield as an example goes to Gray dispatch because it came from a cell phone then there is confuion and mistakes because the dispatch center is not familiar with the area and this needs to be worked on and corrected soon.
Six years in my mind is not long enough for what David Cook did to Matteo Hanson. He was an innocent child who could not care for himself and was at the hands of an idiot who killed him. David should get life for what he did not a slap on the wrist. David needs alot of help and should do life or at least more than six years. It was a horrible thing to happen to Matteo and his family.

I think the people of Livermore Falls need to wakeup and keep this important service in the town and not shift to the county for them or Lisbon to dispatch as those people do not know the area as well as your own dispatchers do. This has been an ongoing item for years and the service needs to be kept local not put out to people who do not know the area like your dispatchers do. Do not add to the unemployment figures anymore keep these people working locally so they can support their families and contribute to the town tax roll. A four dollars increase sounds like alot but it will cost more the other way and with the people in town having taxes increased by Wausau closing it is unfair to these taxpayers. Wausau should be made to continue paying their taxes until they sell the mill to someone else and they should not be allowed to move any machinery out of the mill. It should be sold with the machinery intact.

I feel that these action are very wrong and disrespectful to our deceased loved ones. I hope they will be barred from all cemeteries in this area and other areas near here. Do your ghost hunting somewhere else you are STUPID and it is a bunch of hogwash and ridiculous.
A situation like this can be
A situation like this can be very frustrating to the emergency crews. The dispatcher needs to get more information from the caller on cell phone and the caller needs to be more specfic with details. I realize people panic and the adrenal is flowing fast but take time to be specfic with the information as it is critical to all involved. This was a sad situation and dispatchers need to work with the responders more. The problem being that the dispatchers are not local and do not know the area as well as the local dispatchers did. We knew the areas we dispatched for well and it was a lot easier to communicate with the firefighters,ambulance and other responders then than it is know. When a call for Dixfield as an example goes to Gray dispatch because it came from a cell phone then there is confuion and mistakes because the dispatch center is not familiar with the area and this needs to be worked on and corrected soon.
Six years in my mind is not
Six years in my mind is not long enough for what David Cook did to Matteo Hanson. He was an innocent child who could not care for himself and was at the hands of an idiot who killed him. David should get life for what he did not a slap on the wrist. David needs alot of help and should do life or at least more than six years. It was a horrible thing to happen to Matteo and his family.

What a waste of these two young mens lives just over a woman. How stupid can they be. They should be locked up for life and not be allowed an attorney at the states and taxpayers expense. Keep them in jail. I feel badly for the two men and their families that were killed for such a stupid reason.

What are theywaiting for? It is obvious that the car struck Sharon Call. Brandon needs to be held accountable for his actions and he needs to lose his license permanently.. For a young person who has only had his license for three years the charges against him are appalling and he should not have a license ever again. He needs to growup and accept and prove responsibility.
I am appalled to think
I am appalled to think someone would do this to the free store. For many years our loving Dot Sanchas has provided alot of help to people with this store and santa helpers. Now her daughter Margaret McNeil has followed in her moms footsteps to continue this program which is what Dot wanted. Dot was like Mother Theresa and so is Margaret. This should never have happened and I hope they find the culprit and all the stuff the took. They need to be punished for what they did and the judge should not give them a slap on the wrist because if they needed help all they had to do was asked and Margaret would have helped them just as her Mom used to do.
