Part of the problem you'll find is that a lot of the graduating students aren't interested in staying in Maine once they do graduate because it's generally accepted that you'll get paid far less here than you would if you went out of state. My wife is a registered and licensed healthcare provider with a master's degree in management and she does not get paid what she deserves here in this state. We've been looking at salaries outside of the state and we're far below the average here in this state. It's poor, but what are you going to do? I can't offer any solutions because it's a catch 22 situation. Instead we make due with what we have.

What is wrong with all of you people?!?! Are you all relatives of Ebenezer Scrooge????? It is the Holiday season, and all you can think about is how inconvenienced you are! What about all of the families that come to view this spectacular light show? All of the Children who look forward to it every year? I know people who look forward to coming and watching every year. I have friends who ask me if it's going to be displayed. Doctor or not, these two people are full of the Christmas Spirit, and enjoy putting on the show for their fellow people. Yeah, they pay more for the electricity to put it on; yeah they paid for all of the lights; yeah they spend ALL of their spare time putting this together this time of year. Does that make them bad people? All of you people who are writing these negative comments should be ashamed of yourselves! It's Christmas! It's the time for giving! Just because you can't afford to put on a spectacular display like this and bring JOY to "hundreds, maybe thousands" of people each night, doesn't mean these two neighbors shouldn't be allowed to! I for one will be attending. In fact, I may actually call the good doctor and see if he needs help putting the show together! Then, I'm going to tell everyone I know to come and see the show!

This is the one fo three Motorcycle Accidents I have heard about since Saturday afternoon! I saw the aftermath of this one, myself. PEOPLE, WE NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO OTHER DRIVERS! I ride and I would HATE for someone to pull in front of me and say, "I didn't see him!" Every year, more and more motorcyclists are on the road. Especially with the cast of fuel rising. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, I beg of you. Look two times instead on once. Please, for sake of us Riders and our friends and Families, watch for Motorcyclists. You could save our lives by being on the lookout for us. Thank you.
