Well i've driven on pine st. many times and 90% of the people over there walk in the street rather then using the sidewalk. The other 10% don't even look when crossing the street they just walk out in front of a car. So look smartin up people look both ways before crossing and use the sidewalks and you won't get run over its really that simple its not rocket science.
If that had been anyone else (native mainer) it would have been 15 years or more so justice has been searved but only for the select few who don't have a J.O.B sponge off the rest of us TAX PAYERS, and drive a FREE NEW CAR now thats the way to go right????????????

Well when i took the town to the PUC about a false water bill the PUC favored me and told the town to change there water meters that were more then 10 yrs old. I also didn't pay the water bill in the amount of $300 plus. To this day the town never said it was there mistake. If someone can find a way to fix STUPID please call the town office and see how fast that will get fixed ONLY IN LISBON never a dull moment.

What is needed is for the new governor do to is cut off the welfare for people that are not residents of the State for at leasy 1 yr. then we'll see a big difference.

Well if the cops have nothing better to do then stop people and give them a ticket for trash picking then they have way to much time on there hands. We can save money if we just get rid of the cops and that would save on the property taxes. So lets see give a ticket with a fine of $100.00 or layoff a cop for $40.000, well thats easy thunk about it.

Well less see they say they cut the budget but remember 2 yrs ago they said the same thing. They cut 12 or so staff positions and the next week they hired 24 new people. Its the same old shell game. There is no way there going to cut the budget there playing on the kids programs to get the taxpayers upset enought to put it back in. Come School board trying something new you do every year, scare tactics are getting old.

Wow thats a good average salary seeing how we have a high unemployment rate and the average salary in Maine is no where near that amount per yr. Do you people think the tax payers of Lewiston are that stupid, it seems so. We might not be the sharpest pencil in the box but we can add and subtract. If i get a job they tell me when to start not pay for my moving all the way from Bangor, But oh yea this is Lewiston rules are different. Het wake up and smell the coffee the idea is to save money not blow it, or here is a idea lower the tax rates, I sure hope this one doesn't come up with any new taxes like the last city manager we can't afford any more.

you can ask cmp to put you on the address of your rental and if the tenant power is shut off it goes into your name automaticlly. I have several mobile home rental and that is the way i have it setup. works great that way even in the winter if scum bag tenant turns it off and moves out in the middle of the nhit or week you;ll still have power and not frozen pipes.
