I am married to the most wonderful man. I have 2 beautiful daughters, and i am a fulltime student at Kaplan University in Lewiston Me. I am studing paralegal studies and i and very opinionated.
what mother or father goes to a methodone clinic not once but a few time and falls asleep behind the wheel with her kids in the car and kills on and gets away with it?....Why is it ok for her to do this but if a person gets pulled over and found to have been to the meth clinic they get an oui...im outrage with the justice system in this state....i can only pray someone realizes that she needs to do time for her crime and that is being dumb enough to drive all jacked up on methodone with those precious babies in the car in with one is now never going to have a chance at a life and the rest of the family has to live without....JUSTICE FOR MATTY....AND PUT THAT SO CALLED MOTHER BEHIND BARS WHERE SHE BELONGS BEFORE SHE ENDS UP WITH LESS KIDS THAN SHE ALREADY HAS.....WE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU MATTY....REST EASY SWEET ANGEL!!!!
im not saying that he shouldnt do time for this because yes he should and i think he will get what is coming to him when he gets to jail. But i also think there is so much more to this and the whole thing with the girl being pregnant and this child being born to all this is a hole sad situation but she also knew all about him and made the choice to be with him so it should also be addressed. thats what i am saying.
sorry but the girl is pregnant with his child and has a 6 month old baby already...sounds to me like she knew what she was doing as far as having sex with him since she already has one kid....she has admitted on facebook that she had sex with him willingly, and now she doesnt want to be with him she has him arrested...sounds dirty to me. not that i like sex offenders because i cant stand them but this girl knew what she was doing and i think she should be held responsible for her actions as well...she had a baby at 15 and she was obviously having sex....sad situation....
ok so lets throw them in jail and spend more tax money we dont have that makes sense....come on ppl make them work community service there is so many things that could be done in this state....make these people work off the money they frauded...why should the tax payers and the state waste anymore money on these lowlifes when we could make them work it off...they dont deserve us paying for 3 meals a day and a roof over there heads anymore.....
THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THAT IS IF THEY CAN GET CASH HOW WOULD THEY PAY THEIR RENT...I DONT KNOW ANY LANDLORD THAT CARRIES A DEBIT MACHINE WITH THEM...I KNOW YEARS AGO DONT KNOW IF THEY STILL DO IT OR NOT BUT THE STATE WOULD LET YOU SIGN A PAPER GIVING THEM PERMISSION TO SEND YOUR RENT DIRECTLY TO THE LANDLORDS...MAYBE THAT SHOULD BE MANDITORY....AND WHATS LEFT ON THE CARD SO THEY CAN PAY OTHER BILLS AND BUY HOUSEHOLD ITEMS IN THE STORE...
If the state can make it so you can buy hot food with food stamps why can they make the restrictions on buying cigs and alcohol....This state is falling apart fast because of the people in it. I once was a tanf recipient and i was glad it was there for me but we did have a card then...as a matter of fact my rent money was sent directly to my landlord and the rest paid my bills....the other problem is there are so many drug addicts out there and most people dont realize that most of them became that way because of the doctors that hand out preciption drugs like there candy....It is sad that this state cant get there fingers out of there butt and make something happen....like i said IF THE STATE CAN CONTROL THE BUY OF HOT FOOD WITH FOODSTAMPS WHY CAN THEY PUT A STOP TO BUYING CIGS AND ALCOHOL....HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
I think it is wonderful that the people of this country are reaching out to help those whom live in this country. I am glad to see it stay here in this country where it belongs and helping our people. May the families that donate be blessed to no end and may the ones who recieve the generous blessing stay warm. I ke your an amazing man and you have a heart so big. May you have many blessings in your life to help you threw your journeys. Lepage is so worried about the state losing money, but yet i dont hear him talking about pay cuts for the reprasentives of this state including himself. They are way over paid and it would save this state tons of money. Taken education away doesnt solve anything and the cuts to the helth insurance recieved by so many that will have to go without is rediculious. I think the budget needs to be looked at and maybe they should make cuts to other things other than education and health care. With the cuts Lepage wants to make it would almost be better to inprison the elderly so they can be taken care of. Prisoners get free meals health care and so many privliages and there in there for punishment, but yet the elderly who worked their whole lives have to suffer. Hmmmm, sounds kinda messed up to me. Thats just my opinion.
they shouldnt have let the parents kow their going to be doing this...let them get the real feeling of it and maybe some of these parents would wake up to the precious children not being so innocent and thinking their children wouldnt do that....and the State of maine should change the ages for teens to be able to get their licences. i think it is great the cops are putting it out there but they have been telling kids in high school since i can remember and it is just getting worse....something else needs to be done....these kids just dont take it seriously at all and they continue to do these thing over and over....

I agree the parents need to teach more about the consequences, but these kids should also know right from wrong at these ages. I personally think that getting a licences should be age 18. As an adult at 18 they will or should know the outcome of such driving infractions and results of irresponsiblities of driving. Cell phones and alcohol are the biggest causes of underage driving along with inexperience. let them get permits at 16 but make them get the driving experience for a couple yrs with a responsible adult with them. I think the state needs to make some big changes to the driving age and laws. This is just one sad situation in this state last years death rate among teen drivers was extremely high and there is no need of this at all. Hope the state of maine makes changes soon because if not im afraid we will have less and less kids that are still with their families instead we will have more fatalities. Just my opinion, and i as a parent refuse for my children to get a licence til they are 18.
if these cab companys want to hire these drivers they should be paying the fee. Why should the town have to pay it and why should the driver have to pay the cab owner should have to pay. If you get hired at a job and you need further training most jobs pay for that. If you need special background checks or licences they for the most part pay for them. Why should a town that is not doing so hot because of most of the morons in office and their decision have to pay out of pocket when they can barely afford to take care of their town pay for these background checks.
Really he has been convicted before and facing 2 felonies and his bail is 500.00.....that is b.s. He is a repeat offender and 500.00 bail. I think our justice system should be asking for more bail than that. Thats a slap in the face to the young girl he molested. someone with oui has a higher bail than someone who molests children now something is wrong with that picture.
This is so sad. The young lady driving has just thrown her life a way taken the life of 2 others and injured herself and 1 other. A teenager texting and drinking and driving. we are seeing so much of this with teens and im wondering if maybe they should make the law on getting licences 21. These teens now a days just are showing that they are responsible enought to get there licences. Or at least the age of 18 with heavy stipulation. I send my condolences to the families and hpe the other heal and are going to be ok. It frustrates me to see all these bad accidents and the majority is teens. Cell phones were the worst invention ever. They cause way to many distractions and teens arent able to ignore their phones when they go off.....
