Married living in Maine with 2 kids and 3 step daughters.
It is so wonderful to hear that Lt. Reynolds will be coming back as our Chief. I truelly hope that the Town of Wilton will do what they can to help him stay. I think he has been and will be a great asset to our Town. The Town of Wilton needs a well working police department that is more for a small town community that we are. So welcome back Mr. Reynolds.
I hope the SJ will try and follow this story up and find out why the parents of these children were not contacted by any school officials and still have not been called. I know this for a fact because on of my friends children was on that bus and now her child is scared to go back on the bus. Also she has not been contacted by SAD 58 to explain anything.
It is awful when any life is lost and not able to grow old with their families. But everyday driving down the road I see how driving has become second nature to most. Everyone is doing so much other than driving and the common sense has gone out of it all together. We have cars coming out that drive themselves how wrong is that. Are the new generations that STUPID? They can’t learn just like we did. Driving common sense is like the circle of life. The biggest one is highest on the food chain they pick what they want. Same goes for on the road. Sunday I was sitting at a four way intersection mind you I was waiting to make a left hand turn off the main route on to the side road, where there were 2 motorcycles waiting to cross the main route. As soon as there was a break in traffic the car in front of me started to turn when one of the bikes cut them off and crossed with one hand in the air giving the finger. So when it was my turn to go I thought well this other man has to know that I have the right of way and I am driving a Truck only common sense right. OH no he also goes for it and waves. He was about a half of an inch from being part of my bumper.
