being moved...not taken out and destroyed. Chill.
I am not offended in the least by this, nor do I think it should be a priority. But, I wasn't elected, he was, and this will be another thing to consider when voting next election. I doubt that this will be a big factor.
Recall over this? Seriously people.
is cheap. If Mr King had said "that I pay an extra 20% in income taxes just because I believe in the government efficiency", then thats one thing. Saying he (and others like him) "should", is just hype.
This isn't a Republican/Democrat thing...this is a Capitalism thing. The private sector is not taking money away from the goverment, its the other way around. Well, unless of course you are in a large union and needed a bailout - but thats a whole different topic. So do you call all the union members that got a bailout of their pensions, fat cats?
what their total income is??? If they earned it legally, its THEIR money!!! I don't care what "their" income is...if I want more income, then I have the right and freedom to make it happen.
Are you suggesting there should be some sort of personal income or wealth limit? If so, who decides that limit? The President? Congress? You?
Our Constitution says we all have a right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness( which at the time of its writing meant PROSPERITY - look it up ) It mentions NOTHING about "limiting" Prosperity. Thats a "progressive/liberal" mindset(aka spreading the wealth) - which the facts show doesn't produce the intended effect.
The "meaningless' facts - as you say - show the direct impact of what happens when the rich are more heavily taxed. Their percentage-wise contribution drops. Hmmm...and guess whos percentage-wise contribution has to rise???
So again, if MR King is THAT upset about being unfairly undertaxed - then write a check to the IRS. My take is he was playing to the union crowd.(which they need lately, because I haven't been hearing a whole lot of non-union public support for them)
