It seems that a lot of rhetoric is happening close to voting time.. let's all just get mad and angry and jump all over President Obama .. gee, this off shore drilling was permitted by the Bush admin.. and the "Drill BAby Drill" campaign is now trying to say they meant.. oh.. "not out there... where the accident happened.." right.. sure.. any drilling of oil under water is a hazard waiting to happen by it's very nature.. and it seems the Republicans want Pres Obama to cure all the left-over nastiness from economic sad state, to wars, to environment, as soon as he landed in office.. humm.. does he have a magic wand? I think not.. undoing the past 8 years of allowing oil companies and banks and big money to take over our country will take time.. my take is BP should have had a workable plan to fix this if it should occur, and whatever happened on that ship to begin with will probably show where the blame lies.. the government should not be in this business of oil.. now we have to buy machines and hire people for BP to clean this up? Great.. with BP's push for more, more, more... faster, faster, faster.. the mentality of the Rep party in general .. it appears..) they should be grabbing up every private citizen or scientist that has a good idea right now and letting them get in there.. and what about all the boons.. where are they? Right.. blame it on President Obama.. that is the easy way out.. look at your own party's contribution to this mess... The Blame Game is not going to get this fixed.. maybe some of our Senators and Rep and public officials need to get down there, roll up their sleeves and get to work with the rest of the volunteers.
