I agree Lewiston needs to really clean up it's image and get rid of this online site and talk of the Dirty Lewiston but, it take more than just getting rid of website. It means you really need to clean up Lewiston and not whine you don't have the money to do it.

There is enough Community Develop Block Grant Money out there that Lewiston can access. One the biggest problems is, you need to make scum landlords like Joseph Dunn and his Sister who Run Sullivan Property Management to CLEAN Up and Fix up their Buildings and bring them up to Code and if this cannot be done by Mr. Dunn and other Scumlords then the buildings should be declared unsafe and condemn them and Tear them town. This is Only way you're going to get rid of that image.

You have clean up the city and get rid of the trash in the city and don't go blaming the Somalian community either. BLAME THE DEAD BEAT DHHS Cases that Have several kids on the state's tab and all the drugs that is done.

Look at all the fights and problems with guns and stolen cars and high police chases and standoffs. I am sorry but, I totally disagree with the idea of not taking kids from the North Campus the old Jay High School. It's like saying we are united but, not on field trips? What Kind of message are you sending to the kids at Jay, Denise? Come On! This is not Right and Not Fair.

The Board Never should have approved this at all. If students from North Campus Cannot not go, Then Students from the South Campus shouldn't go either. This is a Clear Sign of Discrimination and it Should Not be Taught in Ours Schools. Start with Trips and it can lead to other things very easily. You'll create more problems than keeping track of Students you don't know, Denise. This Trip Should be Cancelled.

This was a Wonderful that Lewiston Fire Department had the memorial Made and erected on the grounds of The Main Firehouse. I hope that all who pass by this Memorial will remember those who were killed in the line of Duty.

I think this is Wonderful that a new location stops are being added to the bus lines. I hope with the opening of the VA Clinic we might see an increase in how late the buses run and possibly a longer schedule on Saturdays would be nice as well.

I'm Sorry There Are people that think the 2 schools will benefit by combining. They won't. The Jay Kids will always be the Jay Kids and The Livermore Falls kids will always be the Livermore Falls kids and will be treated differently and you're NOT Going to convince me otherwise. As Sad as I am hearing of the sale of these windows taken out of one of the most beautiful Catholic Churches in Maine is sad for Lewiston. As well as the Tearing down on The Former United Baptist Church. I hope with St. Patrick's as well as the Former United Baptist Church that the Pipe Organ in this Church a E & G.G. Hook & Hastings Pipe Organ Found a new and good Home as well. I had the chance in my youth when Monsignor Gleason was at St. Patrick's to Practice on the Organ at St. Patrick's as well as the one at the Former United Baptist Church. Both were beautiful sounding Organs and both had Excellent Organists at both Churches. I was sorry I never met the organist at St. Patrick's. I did at United Baptist.

Sad to see such beautiful places of worship close. I do hope something can be done with St. Patrick's and St. Joesph's Church that they do not see the fate United Baptist Church Saw. Torn down for a Parking Lot! That's A Cardinal SIN!

I hope that a good Home was found for the 3 Manual EM Skinner Pipe Organ, the Stained Glass Windows and the Pews and other furniture in this church and that it wasn't just put up on the Auction Block.

Livermore Falls/Livermore/Jay will before every changed. I hope this is for the good of the students.

While I still Disagree that this is being done, I understand times have changed and the communities cannot continue to support two school systems.

My hope and my prayer is all students will treat one another with fairness, Respect, towards this and will work together to become a new and better school.
