This is just what Lewiston needs.... More unfounded negative feelings. Ask anyone who doesn't live in Lewiston what they think of the town and the involuntarily shudder. Most have only driven through it or spent very little time here. Perhaps if we stop groaning on and on about how scummy Lewiston is and start being more positive about it the media will start taking notice of the Heroin/Oxy/Cocaine problem in Bangor or maybe the Gang/Heroin/Oxy/Coke/Random Violence problems in Portland. It makes me sick when I hear people spew this garbage with absolutely no evidence.
Lewiston has improved. The only thing that will bring more people into the town (+more money +more city improvements) is if it's own inhabitants stop constantly talking their own town down.

I've used City Cab for a while now and they were the only company that I could find that would A. Let my dog ride in the car. B. Pick me up with my Bike on dark country roads. C. Pick me up in Mechanic Falls at 11:30 pm. City Cab may have had cabs that smelled terrible, were dirty and sometimes driven by crazy a$$|-|oles but they were still my favorite. I'll miss them.
